"I have spent this semester being exposed to different local government functions in my Issues in Urban Management course at UMSL. My interest in local government service has been my interest in public service. Whether it's for my fellow students at the State Capitol, or for the last six years as a United States Marine, I have always been driven by service for others. Through a course of study and potential career in city management, I would be able to continue giving back to my community and state that have given me so many opportunities in life"
